Our recruitment process

Depending on the position and service you apply for, you'll benefit from a recruitment process fit for your position!

    Trainee

We generally ask our candidates to come to our premises in Luxembourg for a face-to-face interview.

We might come ourselves to special events organised in your campus, where you can take an internship interview.
We've adapted our selection process to the business area (Audit, Tax, Advisory or Corporate Services) you're interested in, but the general procedure is the following:

  • A test (30-60 minutes) to help us assess your basic technical knowledge (e.g. in accounting & financial aspects, or tax law for audit and tax positions).
  • An interview with an expert of the business area (1 hour) to give you the opportunity to discuss the test results and to prove your motivation and enthusiasm for our firm, our business and Luxembourg.

We'll let you know the outcome in a few days after the interview.

Three ways to approach our Firm!

Individual Interview:

We'll generally ask you to come to Luxembourg for a face-to-face interview.
If you're located too far, we can arrange a Skype interview.

  • Depending on the position you apply for, you might have an interview with one of our Partners from the relevant business area (30-60 minutes).

We'll let you know the outcome in a few days after the interview.

Audit days (Journée audit)

French speaking candidates who wish to apply for a junior Auditor position can participate, upon invitation, to one of our Selection Days (Journées audit) in Luxembourg.
During these events, we give 6-8 candidates the chance to gain practical insights from our professional experts and our Human Resources recruiters.
After various short group exercises, a first selection takes place in the morning in order to decide which candidates will enter the next round. The finalists pass a technical test and two interviews (30 minutes each) with an expert of the business area and a Human Resources recruiter. We announce the interview results the same day.

Recruitment days (Audit and Tax only)

Every year, our firm welcomes graduates and students from more than 40 European universities and business schools to explore our Audit and Tax activities for two days. This is an opportunity to experience a typical working day as an auditor or tax advisor by dealing with case studies directly inspired from real business situations.
Firstly, we take them on a city tour to discover Luxembourg and its social life. On the second day, we start their "enrolment" through job interviews. The successful candidates leave the event with a signed employment contract to start a career with us directly after graduation.
Stay tuned for the next edition of PwC Luxembourg's recruitment days. The advertisements will be posted on our website and of course at your campus.

Buses are Luxembourg's most popular form of public transport.
All PwC employees receive a Jobkaart, which is a free bus pass that can be used on any of the Ville de Luxembourg bus routes.

Can I park my car nearby Crystal Park?

Alexandrine Lardinois

Grade: Talent Acquisition Manager
Starting date at PwC: 14 February 2011

School: HEC-ULg

Background: Two years working in Luxembourg investment funds as a fund accountant, before spending three years in London as a headhunter in executive search and selling training courses to companies. I returned to Luxembourg in 2011, and I've been here for nearly five years now.

A typical day? There really is no such thing as a typical day - that's the beauty of the job. Every day is another day and variety, as well as new discoveries on a human level.

My advice: My advice concerns the interview. It's important to be yourself, and above all not to answer a question by saying what you think the recruiter wants to hear - this is most often not the case.

Why PwC: Because PwC offers new perspectives continuously ; because its size and international outlook brings with it numerous opportunities for professional development; because people are at the centre of management's attention; and finally because PwC is the world number one, and a company couldn't achieve this without sticking to true values and a genuine desire for excellence.
